Just Another Lie
Just a little lie,
It's another one
To add it to my list.
It's to benefit me,
It wont hurt you.
It will protect me.
Just one last, little lie,
To protect my fragile heart,
To hide behind the walls,
The lies, to keep away the pain inside
For, it's this lie that keeps the tears away,
I don't need you.
I don't need anyone.
I'm fine on my own.
I love being on my own.
There isn't anything else I need.
Just myself and my lies
